Up for sale is a new old stock, Chevrolet Corvette air filter. It is in excellent, new old stock condition, and is still sealed in the original bag. The GM part number is #6423906 . I believe this is correct for 1967-1969 L-88 and ZL1 Corvettes. The foam filter is wasted but the ring is rust free, and nice! Please do your homework on the part number and your application. This is a genuine GM part ready for judging, not a reproduction! Get the right parts for your classic. 2014 Corvette Stingray twins spotted in the wild
Thu, 23 May 2013Sure, we've seen the new Corvette Stingray, crawled all over the C7 at car shows, seen interior 360 videos of it and maybe, just maybe, had some time behind the wheel (you'll know soon enough). But there's something special about spotting the car on public roads -- there's something even more special about spotting a pair of them nose-to-tail in rush-hour traffic. The new Corvette in front appears to be Crystal red tintcoat, a darker, extra-cost color.
Daimler-Renault alliance to delay new Smart and Twingo models, report says
Wed, 15 Jun 2011Renault SA and Daimler AG, who are sharing technology to build the new Smart ForTwo and Renault Twingo cars, will delay the introduction of the models by a year, according to a French newspaper. The cars will now come to market in 2014 instead of 2013, La Tribune said, citing industry sources. The next ForTwo and the third-generation Twingo will be built on Renault's A platform, with ForTwo production continuing at Smart's plant in Hambach, France, and Twingo output at Renault's Novo Mesto factory in Slovenia.
Ford prototype seat measures your heart rate
Tue, 24 May 2011Ford continues its foray into health and wellness with a car that can monitor the driver's heart activity. Research engineers in Germany have developed a prototype seat with six sensors that can monitor the heart's electric impulses through clothes and give an early warning as to whether a driver should seek medical attention because of irregularities. Drivers who have cardiovascular disease are 23 percent more likely to be involved in a car accident.
