This is a NOS lift cylinder for the power top convertibles from 65 to 69.  It is a rare one, can't say i ever saw another one anywhere, wish i had a pair. Anyway as you can see the box is decrepit but the cylinder is not. When i got it, it was also in a plastic bag and it still is. The out side is clean and they come sealed with fluid in them. I took the plug out and moved the rod just a bit to make sure it was not froze and there is no other issues. By the way you can read the tag with a magnifying glass but may not be able to make it out in the pictures. Thank you and good luck.

Please note that i often ship same day or next day. But since this is a buy it now that will not be as easy to do but i will do my best. And as always i will take great care in packing the item. Shipping is for the lower 48

By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 11:10 Pontiac is going to have a tough time trying to stop its 2010 Sport Truck being called the El Camino. From the B-pillar forward its Pontiac G8, but on the back there’s a 6ft pick-up bed and the suspension has been beefed up to the take the expected loads and tows. Under the bonnet is the same 6.0-litre V8 used in the G8 GT, delivering 361bhp and 385lb ft, but Active Fuel Management and a six-box auto ‘box should keep the as-yet unstated fuel economy affordable.

Jaguar's innovative dual-view screen will be illegal in the US It would be horrifying for Jaguar to discover that they’d built a glorious car like the new Jaguar XJ, only to find they’d dropped a huge clanger by making it an illegal road car in the US. It’s not that bad, but Ian Callum – Jaguar’s design guru – has confessed that the dual-view screen in the new XJ is actually not legal in the US. Whoops.

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

Porsche will bring its latest hybrid know-how to the racetrack in the form of the new 911 GT3 R Hybrid, revealed here for the first time prior to a planned public premiere at the Geneva auto show in early March. Developed by a team of engineers at Porsche's Weissach R&D center, Porsche plans for the stripped-out race car to act as a rolling laboratory. The German carmaker wants to explore the potential of hybrid drivetrains in a racing environment before an expected announcement that it will return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a factory capacity, perhaps in 2012, with a race car boasting technology based on that used in the 911 GT3 R Hybrid.
