The above photos of what very well might be a development mule for the next primo Ferrari —likely to be called the F70—were recently posted on the Ferrari 4/5 Competizone Facebook page. The future F70 is expected to be a front-runner in the competition between the very best cost-no-object supercars. The F70 will feature a 7.3-liter V12 coupled to a kinetic-energy-recovery system, a combination that will be good for 920 hp.

Wayne Cherry to receive EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award

Wayne Cherry has been chosen by a panel of his fellow designers as the winner of the EyesOn Design 2013 Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Cherry, who spent his entire design career at GM, joined the company in 1962 after graduating from Art Center and was part of the team that designed the 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado and the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. In 1965 He was transferred to GM's British operations, Vauxhall, and led the design work on the XVR Concept and designed the SRV and the 1978 Equus.

The resignation of Henrik Fisker in March from the eponymous company he worked so hard to build in to a credible ‘Green’ car company precipitated the meltdown of Fisker, which now stands on the edge of bankruptcy over $171 million owed to the US government. But Henrik Fisker has a plan. He’s teamed up with Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li – a Fisker investor – to try and buy the US government debt and save Fisker from being crushed by bankruptcy.
