I'm no expert but through research have discovered that this is a sought after tire to restore British military bikes and others. Original unused new old stock tire. Normal dirtiness for a tire that has been kicking around the shop since the 60's. Discontinued by Dunlop some years ago. It's a Dunlop Speedway 3.50 X 19 which is also a hard to find size. Don't hesitate as this may be the last one ever on e-bay. I could not find where any have sold in the recent past. Can't even find much about the tire other than a bike collectors site. If it were still produced would estimate it to cost around $129.00. I am starting it at a low price of $49.99. Made in Great Britain. Shipping will be determined after auction ends. Any questions ask!!!

Is the DfT trying to nobble 80mph speed limit trials?

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

With trials proposed for an 80mph speed limit, the ABD are asking if the DfT are trying to fix the trials by running them on congested motorways. When the ConDems came to power, and Philip Hammond was made Transport Secretary, we did hope that might be a sign that government policy on cars would finally make sense, especially when Philip Hammond declared ‘The war on motorists is over‘. Philip’s aim was to look at stuff like national speed limits and create a system that made sense, rather than the silly situation we have where everyone knows you won’t get nicked for 85mph on a motorway unless plod got out of bed the wrong side.

Toyota Prius+: A Party Seven Prius

Tue, 01 Mar 2011

The Toyota Prius+ – the 2 seater Prius Toyota are bashing on with the extension of the Prius brand as well as the extension of the hybrid drive train in to their regular model range. But probably the big Geneva news on the Toyota hybrid front is the public debut of the Toyota Prius+, the European version of the Prius V we saw at Detroit and the first Prius to offer enough seats to party in. Yes, this is a Prius People Carrier.
