This: the new 2014 Range Rover Sport SVR, unveiled today and due to cost a heady £93,450. It is claimed to be the world’s fastest 4x4, thanks to a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 nabbed from the Jaguar XKR-S and boosted to 543bhp and 502lb ft of torque.

Audi to reveal 230hp S1

Audi is expected to reveal a 230hp quattro S1 at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The hot version of its A1 city car will be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine used in the Audi S3, and come with four-wheel drive as standard. Corvette ZR1 'Blue Devil' freed from sinkhole

Workers at the National Corvette Museum have begun removing eight cars from the bottom of a sinkhole that appeared inside the museum's Skydome last month. The first car to make it back to ground level is the 2009 Corvette ZR1 prototype nicknamed "Blue Devil." Incredibly, the ZR1 reportedly cranked right up and even made it to the doorway of the Skydome under its own power.
