This auction is for a original Ford speedo gear for a 2.73 and 2.80 gear ratio and a manual three speed and all ford automatic transmissions. It has 16 teeth. It is brand new and never been used. It is in perfect condition. The 2.80 gear ratio is one of the two most common on Mustangs from 1964-1973 and also 1983-1989. These gears wear out over the years or break. You may have changed gear ratios over the years, or rear ends. This will get your speedo right. Don't get a speeding ticket when you don't know how fast you are going!

     Fits the following:

  • 1964 1973 Ford models with three speed manual or automatic transmissions
  • 1983-1989 Mustangs with 5 speed standard transmissions

I have other gear ratio applications too. Original Ford wrapper not included.
