You are purchasing a new fuel solenoid inertia valve for the Rover, we think it is for the Land Rover 2.6 Series III. Info on this part was limited and hard to find, so we will do our best to describe it.

This seems to be like an electromagnet valve, fuel cut-off valve. It has  brass pipe fittings on 1 side. It is marked 12V DC 100 and on the other side marked Warner Series D6 Model A Made in UK. It is very heavy for its size.

It does not seem to be available new. Any info would be helpful.

New from a vintage British inventory, part number UKC3741 or UKC3741L

Shelby 1000 Photoshop job sparks controversy on the Internet

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Shelby American's public-relations operatives have confirmed that the photo was digitally altered, and it has been removed from our site. We apologize for letting our enthusiasm for mind-blowing automotive feats of strength get the better of us.

Tomorrow's world: lightweight carbon composites

Once all the dust settles on The Great Battery Farce (the idea that the world's ills will be taken care of by sticking a battery in everything that moves and charging it up) we may eventually face up to the fact that the best way to move something around more economically, is to move less of it. That means making things lighter, a lot lighter. Car makers are working on it and manufacturers like Audi and Jaguar have already become masters in bringing aluminium to the mass production.

2013 Chevy, GMC trucks recalled for roll-away risk

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

General Motors is recalling 69,000 2013 full-size trucks and vans that could shift out of “park” and roll away. The recall impacts the Cadillac Escalade; the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado HD and LD, and Suburban and Tahoe; and the GMC Savana, Sierra HD and LD, and Yukon and Yukon XL. The trucks may have been built with a fractured park-lock cable, or a deformed steering-column lock-actuator gear in the lock-module assembly.
