This is a rare NOS Garrett turbocharger, NOT A REBUILT. I bought this for a spare many years ago and never had to use is. This was ordered straight from Garrett. If your restoring a 1986 or 1987 Grand National or T-Type and want a new turbo, this is it. This turbo is not for the GNX. Those turbo's were different. This has the non adjustable waste gate. Fri, 05 Apr 2013Jaguar Land Rover has reported its best sales figures ever in March 2013, with Land Rover sales up by 12 per cent and Jaguar by 20.6 per cent. We’ve got used to Jaguar Land Rover producing ever growing sales figures in the last year or two as their range of cars become ever more desirable. But March 2013 has topped all their results so far with an all-time record number of cars sold – a TOTAL OF 17,733, up by 20 per cent on March 2012.
Toyota recalls Lexus cars for fuel-system fixes
Wed, 26 Jan 2011Toyota Motor Corp., struggling to restore its reputation for top quality, on Wednesday recalled nearly 1.7 million vehicles globally for a variety of fuel system related problems, including 245,000 Lexus IS and Lexus GS sedans in the United States. The North American vehicles are being called back to inspect for possibly faulty installation of fuel pressure sensors. In cases where the sensor is not fastened tightly enough, fuel can leak between the gasket that connects the sensor to the fuel delivery pipes, Toyota said.

The Korean manufacturer is investing heavily in research and development and will increase its spend on R&D from £2.2 billion this year to £2.6 billion by 2010, combined with a 40 percent increase in manpower at its research centres around the globe. The money is being spent on developing downsized, turbocharged engines, efficiency improvements to conventional engines such as friction reduction and the separation of accessories like water pumps from the engine.
