Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition revealed – unlikely to make the UK
Wed, 16 Apr 2014The Ford Mustang 50 Year Special Edition The Ford Mustang is a very big deal in the US, so it’s no surprise Ford are producing a special model to celebrate the launch of the first Mustang in 1964. The Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition – yes, it does what it says on the tin – is based on the 2015 Mustang GT Fastback with Performance Pack and a choice of just two colours - Wimbledon White (the one in the photos) or Kona Blue – with either a manual or auto gearbox. Nods to the original design include chrome bezels round the bottom of the tail lights, a fake fuel filler cap on the back and louvered rear quarter windows.

Tue, 06 Aug 2013Ford Fiesta ST (pictured) is selling so well Ford is having to increase production The new Ford Fiesta ST may have taken longer to get from concept to showrooms than expected, but now it’s here it’s proving to be a big hit for Ford. That’s down not just to how good the new Fiesta ST is, but because it comes at a very appealing price – just £17k for the regular ST and £1k more for the much better equipped ST2 – which undercuts Peugeot’s 208 GTI by £2k whilst offering similar performance but better dynamics.
Nissan to alter design philosophy to attract females and younger buyers
Fri, 13 Sep 2013Nissan will transform its design philosophy in an attempt to reengage with its female and younger buyers, the carmaker's director of Global Upstream Planning Rachel Nguyen has revealed. Speaking at the Nissan 360 event in the US, she announced Nissan is planning new gender-specific concepts to explore what women expect from their vehicles. "When we study the ideal vehicle partner qualities that women customers want, we hear that they want vehicles with effective technologies, especially intuitive navigation systems," she said.
