This is a poker chip that says Blue Chip Proving Grounds Demonstration Program with the 1971 Chevrolet Bow Tie on the front. On the back is a picture of a eagle. These are rare and hard to find and were given out to the public during a demonstration campaign in 1971. Tihs is a brand new NOS GM piece that was stored and never used. Any body that has a 1971 Chevrolet needs one for display with their show car. If you collect GM or Chevrolet memoabilia, then you need to bid also. Good luck, and thanks for looking at my auctions.

BMW i3 spied

Just a few weeks on from the launch of BMW’s new “i” sub-brand, and we have the first spy photo of the BMW i3 out and about in the Scandinavian snow. It seems BMW were busy filming this quite heavily camouflaged i3 for BMW TV when it was snapped, so it seems likely we may be seeing some video soon.

Aimed primarily at the US and Chinese love of traditional three box saloons, the booted version of the A3 gets a few tweaks to set it apart from the hatch (apart from the boot) such as more pronounced curves on the side, flared wheel arches, new bonnet contours, new bumper and air intake design, tweaked grill, new lights at the back and a boot spoiler.
