Auction is for one NOS GM/AC Delco Quadrajet Carburetor Heat Shield Insulator. This was used on many of GM's high performance engines. 327 330 350 389 396 400 401 402 403 421 425 427 454 455 & possibly many more, using a quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor. I have had a few of these put away for quite a while now, so it's time to let this go. These were used to help keep the gas in the carb cooler and to boost horse power. If you are having a problem with getting your car to start after you drive it for a while, then let it sit 10 to 15 minutes it might be boiling the gas in the carburetor. No guarantee, but this might help. The ebay fitment guide is ONLY a guide, so please be the final judge if this is right for you. When only GM works this is for you!. Winning bidder to add $8.95 with tracking, and insurance. US only, Paypal only. Thank you for looking, and good luck!

Toyota is attempting the impossible: to make its Golf challenger more interesting. The new-for-2010 Toyota Auris receives a facelift inside and out, engineering tweaks to nudge CO2 downwards and a sportier model to lure in younger drivers. Good luck, Toyota… Forgive us for sounding harsh, but CAR has never seen eye to eye with the Auris, dubbing it the ‘magnolia’ of the hatchback segment when we first drove it in 2007.

BMW Motorrad Concept 6 (2009) unveiled

Wed, 11 Nov 2009

Yes, we know this BMW is a pair of wheels short of CAR Online’s usual offerings, but we couldn’t resist giving some space to this stunning straight six-powered BMW sports bike concept. Yes, you read that right - the BMW Concept 6 has a 1600cc straight six slung across the frame. Honda tried something similar for the CBX1000 in the 1970s but the idea never really caught on even if the true width increase over a contemporary four wasn’t as huge as your eyes would have you believe.
