Sat, 03 Mar 2012The 2012 Hyundai i20 Facelift arrives a bit earlier than Hyundai planned The Hyundai i20 Facelift for 2012 has arrived a bit earlier than Hyundai planned, with the first photos arriving ahead of its Geneva debut. Update: Hyundai caught up with the news on the i20 facelift and confirmed the changes. But under the skin they’ve also had a play, with a new 1.1 litre 3-cylinder ‘U-II’ diesel which, when mated to Hyundai’s Blue Drive tech, delivers 74bhp and the lowest emissions of any car on sale with a conventional powertrain at just 84g/km.

We had Bob Lutz taking on all comers at the Monticello Race Track in New York for the CTS-V Challenge (which turned in to a one-make competition) and the ubiquitous Mt Lutz confirming that Cadillac will be making a CTS-V Wagon (Estate, to us). Good news for British car factories
Thu, 29 May 2014NEW FIGURES have revealed that UK-based car production raced ahead in April, resulting in the biggest monthly rise since July 2012. A total of 133,437 cars were made in the UK last month – a 21.3% increase on the April 2013 figure, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. The excellent April figures took the year-so-far total to 538,240 – a 6.9% rise on the figure for January-April 2013.
