 Up for sale is an original GM Harrison Radiator Division thermostat.  The thermostat is in nice NOS condition, and has the correct "HRD", "Delcostat" stampings. This is a 180 degree thermostat and it measures 2.125 in diameter. This is correct for many GM vehicles from the 50's and 60's. These are getting extremely hard to find, especially in such nice, new old stock condition! Get the right parts for your classic. GM CEO Akerson auctions 1958 Chevrolet Corvette for charity

General Motors CEO Dan Akerson is auctioning off his 1958 Regal turquoise Chevrolet Corvette for Habitat for Humanity Detroit. The proceeds will go to rebuild the Morningside Commons area of the lower east side of the city. Interested buyers can get a preview of the car during the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Volvo discontinues S40 and V50 for 2012

Volvo will discontinue the S40 sedan and the V50 wagon for the 2012 model year in the United States. The second-generation S40 came out in 2004, and the V50 debuted in 2005. According to Volvo spokesman Dan Johnston, S40 sales were down 29 percent by the end of last year and V50 sales were down more than 50 percent.
