You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) head gasket for the Sunbeam Alpine and Rapier (1959-61).

The head gasket is copper, stamped made in England. This is from an opened head set some of the other gaskets are missing.

Please look at all the photos, you will recieve what is pictured. Missing for sure are the 8 valve stem seals and cork valve cover gasket is split at 1 of the mounting holes (photo 4).

Marked  '1959-61 Sunbeam' on the label. Hand written is 1494cc.

New from a vintage British inventory, part number CD940, alt HS1A869 and CE462.

Toyota and GM recall nearly 1.3 million vehicles over airbag issues

Toyota is recalling certain RAV4, Yaris, Highlander, Tacoma, Corolla, and Matrix models in the U.S. market, part of a larger global recall campaign, for an issue that could prevent the airbag from deploying in the event of an accident. General Motors is recalling Pontiac Vibe vehicles for the same problem; the Vibe is mechanically similar to the Matrix because the two shared a platform and were built at the same plant.

Ford's maximum C for Frankfurt Auto Show

Ford will introduce the redesigned C-Max, which uses the automaker's first global C-segment platform, at the upcoming Frankfurt auto show. The C-Max will be launched worldwide in the second half of 2010, with other models to follow on the platform, including the next-generation Focus, also coming in 2010. The C-Max takes its "kinetic" design cues from the iosis MAX concept car unveiled at this year's Geneva auto show, incorporating features such as a coupelike sweeping roofline.
