Ferris, Texas, United States
1 nos hooded dash light with 3/4 SIZE THREADED MOUNTING POST. Mounts in the model a dash perfect and looks incredable. THE HOOD AND BASE IS CROME PLATED BRASS. The hood has the split tab in the back, see the pictures. It can be mounted in a dash 1/4 inch thick. Unsure of era it was made, has bakelite in the bottom of the socket so it has to be pretty old. Its 1 1/2 inch tall when mounted, thats how much sticks out of the dash total. Overall its 2 5/8 inchs long. 1 wire hookup. No switch on the base, very low profile lamp compared to others I sell with the stem. I have it pictured in a model A dash and comparing the height to the hooded lights I sell with the stem. This light is the same height as the model A light when its in the on position. The last 4 pictures are for example only and no included in this listing. The hood is solid in the back and does not have the slots like the others I sell. The hood fits very tight on the base. No chance of viberating loose. The last picture is of a military dash light that looks very similar to this one for sale here. Great for a brass era car, rat bike, bobber or rat rod also. Includes 1 new production 1 contact 6 v bulb. I have 12v available if you need that. S/H 5.00 Sold as is. Seller accept returns within 15 days of purchase for any reason. Jaguar design through the eyes of art students
Wed, 22 May 2013London's Clerkenwell Design Week runs from May 21-23, serving as the United Kingdom's leading independent design festival. Jaguar is the primary sponsor this year and for the event, it challenged students at the Royal College of Art to create a joint exterior and interior form study which “expresses their vision of future Jaguar design language in either a sports or luxury context.” Ewan Gallimore and Claire Miller won the contest with the F-type skeleton pictured, beating eight other teams. "We began the project by looking at light, specifically the way the light falls within the space at Clerkenwell," said Gallimore and Miller.
