Ferrari 599XX – more info, more photos
Mon, 27 Apr 2009The Ferrari 599XX - a track Ferrari and a rolling test bed for technology [ad#ad-1] We first got to see the Ferrari 599XX at the Geneva Motor Show in March, when Ferrari brought one along to the show, but details were a little thin on the ground. Bentley Continental GT V8 S (& GTC V8 S) revealed
Tue, 03 Sep 2013The Bentley Continental GT V8 S (pictured) has been revealed The Bentley Continental GT V8 has only been around for eighteen months, but it has garnered accolades in that time as a more focused Continental GT, despite its loss of power (and cylinders) compared to the original W12 engine. But now Bentley are capitalising on the V8′s favourable feedback with a more powerful version – the Bentley Continental GT V8 S – to add an even more sporty note to the GT’s offerings. The V8 S still keeps the twin-turbo V8 it shares with Audi, but it now gets a boost in power to deliver 521bhp and 502lb/ft of torque.
Mustang's 5.0-liter V8 now ready for your car
Wed, 04 Aug 2010The new, all-aluminum 5.0-liter V8 that is the heart of the 2011 Ford Mustang GT--and is destined for future duty in Ford's F-Series pickups--has popped up as a new entry in the Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog. With a suggested retail price of just a buck less than $7,000, you can get the same 412 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque sits under the hood of new Mustangs. And since the engine mount bosses and bellhousing mount pattern are common with Ford's 4.6-liter V8, the 5.0-liter is an easy swap for older Mustangs.
