It seems likely that tomorrow we’ll get official images and details of the 2012 Audi RS4 Avant, with the first official photo of Audi’s new RS4 leaking out ahead of an official reveal. Audi have the new TT RS Plus debuting at Geneva – and Audi has already issued official details and photos – but so far we haven’t had anything on the new RS4 Avant, which we also know will arrive at Geneva.

Britain to be third global production site for the Nissan Leaf EV after Japan, U.S.

Nissan Motor Co. said it will build the new Leaf electric vehicle at Britain's Sunderland assembly plant starting in early 2013, with initial capacity of 50,000 units. The Japanese company and its French alliance partner Renault will invest more than $642.6 million in the project, including the construction of a lithium ion battery plant on the site.

Jaguar C-X75 supercar program halted

Jaguar has dropped plans to put the C-X75 hybrid-powered supercar into production, according to a report Tuesday by Autocar magazine in the UK. The reason is struggling economies around the world, the magazine said, citing Jaguar brand director Adrian Hallmark. Jaguar planned to launch the C-X75 next year and had partnered with the Williams Formula One team to help develop it.
