You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) Lucas starter armature for these British cars: Lotus Mark VII Series II 1960, with Ford 105E engine, Austin Seven and 1/2 ton Van (1959-60) original starter 25071, Austin Morris Mini 850 and Morris Minor 850 (1959-64) starter 25071, English Ford Anglia (1960-67) and Prefect (1960-62) with original starter 25071. This has a little surface rust on the spindle which will not harm its performance. At the time of this listing we also had a field coil for this same starter. New from a vintage British inventory, in the vintage Lucas box, part number 54250822 and that number is also on the part. The design takes a modest step away from the 2006 Eos convertible, with shades of the new VW design language seen across the Polo, Passat and Sharan. There's a stronger emphasis on the horizontal lines carried throughout the new design becoming stronger and more obvious towards the rear: a new corporate grille complete with chrome highlights is joined by LED daytime running lights that make the Eos look a shade wider and lower than its predecessor.
