You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) Lucas voltage regulator (alternator) for the Lotus Elite and Eclat 1975-80 Non Air Conditioned, Lotus Esprit (76-84), Esprit MKII (78-81) and Esprit Turbo (80-84) Non A/C. This is for alternator 23737. It is model 14TR with 2 wires. (photo 2 and 3). The box is a bit beat up. New from a vintage British inventory, in the Lucas package, part number 37581 and that is on the part. {CHI} Please see our auctions and other Ebay store items for more NOS, new and one of a kind parts. Vauxhall are already committed to the three door hatchback and the estate as the follow up after the launch, but an obvious contender is an open-topped Astra. And if these renderings are to be believed it will be a bit of a show-stopper.

Wed, 20 Nov 2013New Subaru WRX revealed in LA The new Subaru WRX – the one that may or may not come to the UK – has been revealed today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The WRX gets a new structure – and a four door saloon shape only – with a stiffer chassis, new electronic power steering and a new engine. The new engine in the WRX is a tweaked and fettled version of the 2.0 litre boxer engine from the Subaru Forseter, but in the WRX it gets 268bhp and 258lb/ft of torque, channelled through Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to all four wheels, and enough to hit 60mph in 5.4 seconds The new WRX gets a choice of a manual ‘box with permanent 4WD whilst the WRX with the optional CVT box comes with a transfer clutch to move torque between axles.
