For sale is a NOS, new in the box, never used Mallory ignition rotor number 307. This number replaces oe GM part numbers, 1927393, and D-407. Mallory "High Dielectric" rotors are made of a special material which has much higher dielectric strength than other rotors. This results in longer life and dependability. Mallory was a leader in the high performance ignition market and also sold a line of high quality replacement parts. This rotor fits a ship load of old applications including, 1955-1956 Chevy 8, 1959-1961 Chevy w/2-4 barrel carbs, 1961 Chris Craft, 1955-1956 GMC 8, late 1954-1955 Oldsmobile 8, 1959 Owens Yacht, and 1955-1956 Pontiac 8. Cycle or walk, charity urges parents

PARENTS could save a collective £2 billion a year if they ditched the school run and accompanied children to lessons on foot or by bicycle, says a transport charity. On average, each set of parents could reduce costs by £642 a year if they did not use their car to ferry their offspring to and from school, said Sustrans. Around 11 million journeys a day are made between home and school, while, on average, primary school children live 1.8 miles from school, which is a 25-minute brisk walk, or 15-minute bike ride.
