In this auction we have a NOS AcDelco Marine Application Big Block Chevrolet Mechanical Fuel Pump. This High Performance Fuel pump was sold under the part number 12355616 and features 130 GPH and a 9 PSI shutoff.
Here is a description from the 1997 Performance Parts Catalog, pg 146:
12355616 - High Performance Custom "Marine" Pump "Used on all Chevrolet 396-502 ci Mark IV V8 engines built from 1965-1990. Pump has inlet and outlet ports of NPT 1/2" and a single diaphragm construction with a return line to flame arrestor or carburetor port. Special multiple flow valves, unique hardening process on high wear components, and a highly polished corrosion resistant finish provide additional benefits to the high capacity fuel delivery. This pump also provides a tube connection from the atmospheric side of the diaphragm to direct leaked fuel through a clear plastic tube into the flame arrestor or carburetor throat. This design prevents any fuel leakage from diaphragm failure from collecting into the engine compartment.
Techinical Notes: This pump must be connected to a flame resistor or carburetor port. This pump has been designed for custom racing marine applications with a free flow fuel delivery rating greater than 130 gallons per hour with 9 psi shutoff pressure."
Fuel Pump Specs: - Designed for Big Block Chevrolet Engines (1965-1990) - Flow of 130 GPH - Pressure of 9 PSI - Polished housing to prevent corrosion and provide high capacity fuel delivery - Heavy Duty Construction for Continuous High RPM applications - 1/2 " NPT Inlet and Outlet Ports

We are a Chevrolet dealership that has been family owned and operated since
1928. We recently moved to a new building and have sold the old building. We
need to reduce our excess inventory that we have accumulated through the years.
We are also selling old race car parts, parts for Classic Chevrolet Muscle Cars
(Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, Nova), NOS GM parts and some current GM Parts for
late model GM vehicles still navigating the highway.
We reserve the right to list and cancel any listings in accordance with E-bay
auction and listing guidelines. Missouri residents must pay the sales tax rate
that applies in California, MO unless you provide a Missouri State Sales Tax
Exemption Number.
We are not vintage parts experts, but will try to describe the part to the best
of our knowledge. Some parts may need adjustments, or in the case of a used
part, minor repairs. We will always answer any e-mails regarding the condition
of our parts. We are closed Saturday and Sunday, so no one will be able to
answer the phone on those days. Our
phone number is 573.796.2131 and ask for the parts department. Our fax number
is 573-796-4206.
Handling Procedures:
If any
part is damaged in shipment, the buyer needs to contact the seller
(OldVetteParts) and we will contact the shipment company (UPS or USPS) and have
them inspect the package and the part at your residence. The part
must be returned to Putnam Chevrolet before refunds will be made. It is the customer’s responsibility to
inform us if they would like more than the standard $100.00 of insurance for
UPS or $50.00 for the USPS. You may
also pick up the part at the dealership and will not be charged freight or a
handling fee. Local
Pickup only is done on items that are too bulky or too risky to ship via UPS or
the USPS. We do this to ensure the lowest cost and the best customer
satisfaction we can provide.
Payment Policy:
If you
win a bid on a part and fail to pay within 10 days of winning the bid, an EBay
unpaid case will be opened and the part will be re-listed for sale, unless an agreement
is reached between Putnam Chevrolet and
the buyer. If you
have issues with paying for a part till later, please message us, we will work
with you to solve your issue.
Return Policy:
We do
not offer any returns on our parts. We understand that you are protected by the
EBay policy on returns (EBAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE) for having the incorrect
description, and will honor that policy. Please
consider that Returns not only cost us money, but also cost you time as well.
Always contact us with your VIN number so we can make sure that your vehicle is
compatible to any part that we have to sell. Since we are a GM dealer we access
to such information. Let’s be
honest with each other, no one wants to waste each other’s time. It hurts
productivity and efficiency and it leaves a bad taste in both parties’ mouths.
Let’s make this EBay transaction smooth and painless.
Feedback:
We have
no desire to give anyone negative feedback, so if you are bidding on a part and
win the item, please pay for it. All items that are sold and not paid for will
be re-listed. We do
not give feedback to a customer until the customer gives us feedback. Since we can’t give the buyer a negative
rating, it is a way to insure that you don’t get “positive” feedback without
deserving it. We will
try to resolve any mistakes that happen with our product shipment or any other
errors. We at OldVetteParts strive to provide a 5 Star Positive experience on
every transaction and customer interaction.

This is the new Subaru Legacy concept car, which will be displayed at the Los Angeles motor show later in November 2013. Usually, we’re pretty wary of styling concepts, given how much poetic license they allow designers, before their sexy, swooping designs are diluted to meet crash and aerodynamic benchmarks. This Legacy’s design theme is its trademark ‘Symmetrical All-wheel drive’ system.

No, it’s not a new model, Lamborghini has nothing new to offer at the moment. But at least it went to Detroit, which is more than we can say for some other high profile names! So what’s ‘Ad Personam’?
