Up for your auction bids is this NOS (new old stock) 1962-69 Dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler A, B, and C-bodies,  voltage regulator, Chrysler part #2098300.  As mounted on the firewall in engine bay of these cars, as I recall.  New in the original Mopar box.  From 2002, and bought from the dealer it came from back in 2003 (back in the good ol' days, when you could still get great original parts like this from Chrysler for these cars!). Originally purchased for a 1969 B-body as I recall,  and just never used on the car.

Featured NOS Mopar voltage regulator #2098300 has been stored away on the shelf for many years.  It is a mint condition piece still, with near perfect condition paint and metal plating still.  No damage, alteration, or wear.  Never used or even mounted.  A suitable piece for a top-condition car!

Don't miss this excellent condition rare original Mopar voltage regulator for your special car!  A suitable piece for a top-condition car.  Will be a great addition to any car it would be bolted on to!  Available here for a reasonable opening bid price to boot, especially as these go out there, so be sure to put in that good bid today!  Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!

One Lap of the Web: preservation-class edition

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

-- This video about a preserved Volkswagen dealership in Brazil is in Portuguese, and even if you don't know Portuguese, it will still make sense to you if you're a car person. (Or, you can activate the English subtitles on YouTube, as it's an interesting story.) -- What's the best truck for scaling vertical surfaces? That's right, it's the Unimog, and this week there's a 1965 example (that would be the oval-faced version) on the eBays with a rather realistic Buy it Now price.

Auctioneer Dean Kruse's money woes continue

Thu, 19 Nov 2009

Auburn, Ind., auctioneer Dean Kruse has been ordered by a local court to pay more than $1.3 million to an Indiana bank, and a leasing company has asked a federal judge to repossess Kruse's 1985 Cessna jet, which had been insured at $3.5 million. These two recent events are on top of several months' worth of financial woes for one of the classic-car world's best-known auctioneers. AutoWeek reported in August that people from across the country were complaining that they had not been paid for cars sold at various Kruse International auctions.

Gordon Murray Design T27 crash tested

Wed, 19 Jan 2011

The original Smart car probably did more than its fair share to persuade us that small cars needn't necessarily be unsafe. But now Gordon Murray is on the same mission: to persuade us that his titchy T27 city car is as safe as houses too. Gordon Murray Design has just issued its first crash test results, showing a T27 electric car after a crash test at the UK's MIRA industry research lab.  The crash test in question was the European-standard 40% offset deformable barrier front high-speed impact.
