The Ford Fiesta ST and the streets of Detroit and Belle Isle are the stars of this promotional video released on June 26 by Ford Racing to help promote the ongoing bid of organizers who are hoping to lure the X Games to the Motor City in 2014. Detroit is one of four finalists for the 2014 X Games, along with Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C., and Chicago. An announcement is expected late this summer as to which of the three cities will be awarded the three-year run of Summer X Games.

This new Audi A1 might have a long and convoluted name – it's the A1 1.4 TFSI (136 kW) – but it's not an Audi S1 by another name. While everyone has been expecting a hot version of the A1 to be unveiled at next week's Paris motor show (and this is it), it's not dubbed S1 because there's an even hotter version of the A1 still to come. Meanwhile, this first tuned and tweaked version of the A1 uses the same engine as the VW Polo GTI, Skoda Fabia vRS and Seat Ibiza Cupra.

MyFord Touch revealed at Consumer Electronics Show

Ford is using the concept behind its Sync technology to dramatically redo the appearance of its instrument panels and the manner in which drivers interact with their cars. Ford is revealing MyFord Touch at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and the technology launches on the 2011 Ford Edge followed by global availability on the 2012 Focus. MyLincoln Touch will be standard on new Lincolns, starting with 2011 MKX.
