Up for sale is a new old stock Motobecane Mobylette rear brake light switch for late 1970's model mopeds. The switch has never been installed on a bike and is in clean unused condition. Removed from original packaging for photos, but you WILL receive the original packaging. Likely one of the few NOS pieces left for these bikes.

Using my 1977 Mobylette 40 as a reference, this switch controls the brake light when the FRONT brake lever is depressed (right side of handle bar). Has one red wire, one white wire, and one blue wire that branches off into a second blue wire. See photos! It MAY fit different bikes in different ways, so please do your own research to be sure that this rack fits YOUR EXACT year, make, and model of moped BEFORE purchasing.

**Note: I am not a professional eBay seller, but rather a hobbyist who occasionally sells unused on eBay for fun. Since I work full time during the day and often ship items on my lunch break, it may take a day or so from the time you make a purchase until the item ships. Though I try to pack and ship items as quickly as possible, there may be a day or so delay before the item is marked as "shipped."

Thank you for looking and have a great day!

Renault Zoe EV production car at 2012 Geneva motor show

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

Renault had a surprise up its sleeve at the 2012 Geneva motor show – the new production version of the Zoe electric car will cost just £13,650 in the UK. That’s after the Government’s Plug-in Car grant which pays up to a quarter or £5000 of an electric car’s RRP, and makes the Zoe a more attractive proposition than other electric cars to date. Renault says the new Zoe is priced to be an equivalent to a diesel-powered supermini.

The C-Beyond simply looks like a C4 Picasso that incorporates new LED lighting technology.

Goodwood Moving Motor Show: (almost) an unqualified success

Fri, 02 Jul 2010

The Goodwood Moving Motor Show Yesterday we toddled along to Goodwood to see the set up for this year’s Festival of Speed and to have a look at the Moving Motor Show in action for the first time. We also – courtesy of Jaguar, who had invited us for the day – got an early drive up the hillclimb-based circuit that forms part of the Moving Motor Show’s appeal for the lucky ones who got the opportunity to take the wheel of one of the impressive bunch of cars on display. And it was an impressive bunch, with everything from the Toyota Auris Hybrid to the Rolls Royce Phantom DHC via the Audi R8 and the new Jaguar XJ on offer to drive.
