Wed, 20 Nov 2013New Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition kicks off new Qashqai sales The new Nissan Qashqai has only just been revealked, and Nissan are starting sales in the UK and Europe with a special, high spec limited edition Qashqai – the Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition. The Qashqai Premier is limited to 2007 cars – denoting the year the Qashqai was originally launched – and will be available only to existing Nissan customers. The Qashqai Premier gets based on the Tekna spec but gets extra equipment.
Bentley SUV will be the Bentley Falcon
Fri, 23 Nov 2012It looks like Bentley has come up with a name for its SUV – Bentley Falcon - and, as expected, it will get a complete redesign before it arrives. But it now seems that VW has bitten the bullet on the Bentley SUV and signed it off for production, when it will apparently come complete with a new Bentley name – Bentley Falcon. The news of a name for Bentley’s luxury off-roader comes from Georg Kacher writing in Automobile Magazine and, although it perhaps doesn’t resonate particularly in the UK, it will probably have more impact on the target market for the SUV – the Middle East – where the Falcon is a big deal.
New fuel-economy labels will baffle buyers, survey says
Wed, 06 Oct 2010A survey released this week suggests that revised fuel economy labels proposed by federal regulators will confuse many likely car buyers -- and will emphasize the wrong information. The branding strategy firm Siegel+Gale performed an independent online survey of 456 people over the age of 18 who intended to buy a car in the next three years. Founder Alan Siegel told Automotive News that the survey was not directly requested but has been sent to the EPA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration during the ongoing public comment period.
