New vintage set of Arias pistons and Ohio sleeves for Vega engines. 3.50 Bore/7:1 compression ratio, standard stroke. Marked "Bill Miller Engineering". (BME was active in the 70s and 80's in drag racing and custom engine parts, and is still around today). Probably intended for a turbo engine, or could be used with a decked block/shaved head for a higher CR. These are excellent condition, never installed. Includes ring set but no pins. Nissan's Design Future
Tue, 20 May 2008Recently Nakamura briefed the world's press at a product seminar and displayed some teaser images of the new Infiniti concept. The design is a coupe with classical sporty proportions featuring a cabin set back over the rear-axle and a long, sporty hood. Nakamura says the concept will not directly represent a future production model, but give the flavor of the new design theme.
GM, Chrysler, Nissan launch recalls
Fri, 12 Nov 2010General Motors is recalling 13,780 of its 2010 and 2011 Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS vehicles because of a risk of fire caused by a steering fluid leak. Nissan is recalling 605,000 of its cars for issues with the steering column and batteries. Meanwhile, Chrysler is recalling 16,000 Jeep Liberty SUVs that have a faulty windshield-wiper system.
McLaren F1 GTR sells for record amount in Scottsdale
Mon, 20 Jan 2014One of the most successful McLaren F1 GTR race cars sold at the Gooding & Co. Scottsdale auction over the weekend, bringing in $5.28 million. This 1997 F1 GTR is one of 10 longtail cars built for the 1997 FIA GT season, and it's one of only 28 made in GTR-competition specification.
