Renault inaugurates Global Design Studio in Mumbai

On Wednesday this week Renault inaugurated their global design studio in Mumbai, India. The Renault Design India Studio is the sixth edition to Renault's international network of satellite design centres following those in Barcelona, Paris, Kihueng (Korea), Sao Paolo and Bucharest (Romania) and is the third to be inaugurated this year. Subaru Levorg concept teased ahead of Tokyo debut

The Subaru Levorg Concept Touring (pictured) will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show Today it’s the turn of another Japanese car maker to start showing what they’ll be taking to their home motor show in Tokyo next month, with Subaru teasing the Subaru Levorg concept. The Levorg concept – it’s name is made up from Legacy, Revolution and Touring – is said by Subaru to be a Tourer but with the feel of a sports car, whatever that means. Under the bonnet lurks a 1.6 litre Boxer engine with direct injection turbo tech which, say Subaru, offers smooth performance and green credentials.

SMART ForTwo & SMART ForFour teased with what it’s NOT (Video)

The new SMART City Car will be a giant – apparently It’s a bit of a cliche, but we’re not entirely sure Germans should use humour to promote their products. But SMART seem to have decided the way to go to tease the upcoming 2015 models of the SMART ForTwo and SMART ForFour is to try and convince that they’ve decided a small City Car is wrong and what we really need is a giant City Car. So we get two videos purporting to show what the new SMART City Cars offer – basically a SMART the size of a lorry – and set about convincing us, and gullible members of the public on camera, that this is indeed the route they’re going for the new SMART.
