What you are viewing is an NOS stainless steel gas pedal trim. This is factory correct for Ford trucks 1973-1979 F100-F350 and 1978-1979 Ford Broncos. There are several pictures to view, the only part that is up for auction is the stainless steel trim ring. The stainless steel trim ring is being shown how it looks on and off the gas pedal. These fit right over the original pedal and the tangs will bend over to secure it. This is a nice upgrade to spruce up your gas pedal. Just as an added note, this trim piece was removed from a brand new gas pedal. And like the ad states, the trim piece is being sold by itself. The gas pedal is just for show. Therefore, when it is removed, on the little tangs that bend over to hold it in place, may have slight marks on it from being bent back. But once it is installed you cannot even see the tabs unless you look on the back side of the accelerator pedal. It cannot be returned for this reason.

NOTE: AS STATED ABOVE IN THE DESCRIPTION, THE ONLY PART THAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON IS THE GAS PEDAL TRIM RING!!
FORD WAS IN THE MASS PRODUCTION OF BUILDING CARS NOT SHOW PIECES SO NOT EVERY ITEM IS A SHOW PIECE JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOS

Jaguar SUV: The rendering begins

Sun, 31 Jul 2011

Jaguar SUV - two alternative views So we know that a Jaguar SUV is going to happen. We know because Adrian Hallmark – Jaguar’s vocal and opinionated Global Brand Director – said back in December that Jaguar “…need a crossover and we need to stop being a saloon-based company.” And although Adrian has sometimes managed to speak without engaging brain first, what he says should be taken seriously – even if there are perhaps those at JLR who would rather there was a 3 second live delay on Adrian’s musings at times. So the confirmation that an SUV or SAV or Crossover – or whatever you want to call a high-riding Jaguar – is going to happen means we can all speculate on what it will be and what it will look like.

Audi A1 – the design tease

Mon, 18 Jan 2010

Audi are teasing the design of the new A1 in this latest video (below) If you’ve been living in a cave for the last few months you may have missed the news that Audi is about to launch what it hopes will be a MINI-bashing offering – the Audi A1. The A1 is actually destined for a public launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March – and Audi has threatened full disclosure for next month – but in the meantime it’s on a ‘Teaser’ blitz. We haven’t reported on every tease (we didn’t bother with the ‘Look – the new A1 has headlights’ one last week), but we have covered some, like the graffiti advert.

Opel Insignia Sports Tourer wagon spotted near GM's proving grounds

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

Just like my parents used to say, “You can't get anything by us, we have eyes everywhere.” Ominous threats aside, GM's European unit Opel tried to sneak an Insignia Sports Tourer station wagon onto the roads of Michigan. Luckily our roving eyes spotted the car--complete with turbo badges--and sent some photos back to the mothership. A wagon version of the European sedan has been spotted on Michigan roads before.
