NOS, or new old stock does not mean the part is mint or even perfect! We do not own or sell anything that is perfect. Ford Motor Company has always been in the business of building mass produced vehicles and parts, NOT show cars. When we describe something as being NOS that means it is new and has never been installed on a car. Any out of the normal flaws are mentioned and most times even pictured in the description so there should be no surprises, check our feedback. We try our best to accurately describe the parts we sell but we can and do make mistakes just like everyone else. If you have ANY doubts about the condition or application of the item being sold then please ask questions before bidding. If you plan on not being satisfied with an item or do not have the means to pay for it then please do not bid. Thank you for reading this and for your understanding. |

Tesla recalls Roadster for short in power cable, fire risk
Tue, 05 Oct 2010Tesla Motors is recalling its electric Roadster 2.0 and 2.5 models because a power cable may short and catch fire. The 12-volt cable, located behind the right-front headlight, could rub against the carbon-fiber paneling causing the cable to short, begin smoking and possibly catch fire, Tesla said.
