For sale is a pair of NOS, new in the box, never used, Cragar gold Quick Trick wheels, part number 74655. This style Cragar wheel features a chrome rim with a "brushed" gold center. The gold center of these wheels has been clear coated from the factory. The center has black plastic bolt heads all around it to simulate a bolt together wheel. Both wheels still have a sticker on them recommending a coat of car wax to protect them from the elements. They are a 14X6 six lug wheels and are the original Cragar direct bolt design wheels, which means they only fit one bolt pattern. These wheels have a 3 1/2 back spacing, the wheel is 7" wide total. which means this wheel is center set, as pictured above in picture number nine. These wheels measure 6" bead to bead.  Both of the rims are date stamped 4/22/1981, shown in picture seven, so they are survivors! They were in my speed shop since the mid eighties, and nineties , and into storage around 2005. So they have been handled a few times , thus the boxes are rougher than a night in the old county jail. The first wheel I pulled out of the box to clean up to sell is a ten on a ten scale, it is perfect in every way, the second wheel is equally as perfect on the front side,  a mouse got in the box of the second wheel so there is a little bit of rust in the bead area, which the tire covers when mounted. These wheels are manufactured with a 6 lug on 5 1/2 bolt circle pattern. These wheels fit a bunch of six lug mini trucks, 1964 through 1972 Datsuns, 1972-1979 Chevy LUVs,1972-1979 Ford Couriers, and 1937-1970 Chevrolet full sized trucks, They might fit newer versions of these trucks, my catalog is a1979 version.  These wheels require a mag style lug nut with a very short shank and mag style washers. I only have two of these wheels. Try the wheel on the car before you mount up a tire, they're a lot easier to handle that way if there is a problem. I polished both of the chrome rims with Smith Brite, so the chrome is really shining and ready to go. If you have any questions about the compatibility of your vehicle and the parts I sell feel free to contact me through eBay. Thanks for looking, Scotty.

Jaguar Land Rover to spend additional £250 million a year with UK suppliers

Fri, 11 May 2012

JLR to spend and extra £1 billion with UK suppliers The Range Rover Evoque phenomenon continues with Jaguar Land Rover announcing an extra £250 million additional annual spend with UK suppliers. Just last week we had the news that Land Rover’s Freelander 2 had hit sales of 300,000 since its launch in 2007, but if the Range Rover Evoque continues selling the way it has that figure will be eclipsed in half the time by the Evoque. And it’s sales of the Evoque – Land Rover has sold 60,000 Evoques in the first seven months on sale – that’s driving the need to spend more with suppliers and the announcement today that UK suppliers can look forward to an extra £250 million a year being spent to support the Evoque’s production at Halewood.

Toyota to show FT86 Convertible at 2013 Geneva show

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

Toyota is bringing a drop-top GT86 to next month's Geneva motor show. Based on its sublime lightweight GT86 coupe, the FT-86 Open (the show car has ditched the 'GT' name reverted to the 'FT' tag because it's currently only a concept) will be revealed in March 2013. 'FT' stands for 'Future Toyota', and Toyota has already started the media tease by releasing this sketch. Is the Toyota GT86 convertible confirmed for production?
