New old stock Radial Sixty P235/60R14 tire. This is an unusual vintage tire from the 1960s-early 1970s with raised white letters, although some of the white color has rubbed off from shelf wear. Just right to mount on a period wheel and display in your garage, den, man cave, or use it as a points-winning spare in your restored show car. This classic meat has never seen daylight: I got it and several other similar vintage muscle car tires from a tire dealership going out of business. The owner had deliberately collected these from other tire dealers and saved them indoors in his warehouse. Never been mounted -- as good as it gets. Get your own special piece of rubber-meets-the-road history 4-ply tread (steel and polyester). 2-ply sidewall. See my listings for other NOS tires from the glory days of muscle cars! Alfa Romeo 4C to serve as official safety car at World Superbike Championship
Thu, 01 Aug 2013The 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C will serve as the official safety car at the 2013 World Superbike Championship, which will be taking place at Silverstone this weekend. The last time Alfa Romeo fans got a glimpse of the 4C was just a couple weeks ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed , but at Silverstone the car will be wearing a stylish white matte livery with red, white, and green colors from the Italian flag on its roof and hood. Alfa Romeo is no stranger to the world of bike racing, having sponsored a number of events in the past.
New 2015 Volvo XC90 – first exterior photo
Tue, 12 Aug 2014The new Volvo XC90 (pictured) arrives in 2 weeks The reveal of the new 2015 Volvo XC90 is only two weeks away – although probably overdue by many years – and Volvo continue to pique our interest with more information on the new XC90. Top of Volvo’s information list this time is their new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) which underpins the new mXC90, but in the process they have revealed the first exterior photo of the new XC90 (although the exterior has already been revealed), although it is only a front-end detail photo. What it does show is the XC90′s new headlights – complete with running lights Volvo has dubbed ‘Thor’s Hammer – which look similar to those found on a number of Volvo’s recent concepts, a much bigger grill than we’re used to seeing on a Volvo and a sculptured bonnet.

But even in this global economic crisis the famed design studio is steadfast and committed, remaining vibrant and alive. The most recent development, which occurred on July 28, has seen Lilli Bertone, Nuccio Bertone's widow and President of Bertone, create Bertone Cento as the holding company for both Stile Bertone (design) and Bertonecento R&D (engineering).
