Livonia, Michigan, United States
Condition:New other (see details)

HERE'S AN NOS DOOR JAMB SWITCH FOR DOME LIGHTS AND/OR KEY BUZZER WITH "M B" STAMPED ON THE PLUNGER END.  THESE WERE USED IN THE LATE 1960'S AND EARLY TO MID 1970'S ON MOSTLY CHRYSLER CORP. VEHICLES THAT USED TWO TERMINAL TYPE SWITCHES AND HAD THE LARGER INSTALLATION NUT.  SWITCH IS UN-ADJUSTED AND ADJUSTS TO THE PROPER LENGTH WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED AFTER INSTALLATION.  THIS NUT IS 3/8" THREAD AND 9/16" HEX.  YOU MUST CHECK YOURS TO MAKE SURE IT IS THIS SIZE AND NOT THE SMALLER SIZE.  I BELIEVE THESE WERE ALSO USED BY SOME GM VEHICLES, BUT CHECK THE NUT SIZE.  ONLY A FEW VEHICLES FROM THAT ERA HAD THE "M B" (WHICH I BELIEVE STANDS FOR MILTON BRADLEY THE SUPPLIER) STAMPED ON THE PLUNGER END.  I'VE HAD THIS FOR DECADES AND CAN'T REMEMBER IF IT IS FROM THE ORIGINAL TIME PERIOD OR I GOT IT LATER.  NO INDICATION OF USAGE BUT SOME MINOR HANDLING MARKS MAY APPEAR.  IF YOU NEED TO BE 100% CORRECT,  YOU WILL NEED THIS ONE.

I WILL SHIP BY USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL TO U.S. LOCATIONS AND BY USPS FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL TO OTHER LOCATIONS.  PLEASE PAY BY PAYPAL.  PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE.

Ferrari and watchmaker Hublot ink long-term deal

Sat, 05 Nov 2011

Saturday under cloudy Florentine skies, Ferrari president Luca Cordero di Montezemolo and Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot S.A., arrived at Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, the practice track for Scuderia Ferrari, to make an announcement bright with promise: For the third time since its founding, Ferrari will enter into a long-term timepiece collaboration, this go-around with Hublot. The freshly inked five-year partnership technically commences in January, but both Montezemolo and Biver were almost giddy of Saturday's announcement and indicated that prototypes were under way. Officially Hublot will be the “watch and timekeeper of Ferrari,” as well as the “timekeeper of Scuderia Ferrari,” the company's racing arm.

Audi A6 allroad 3.0 TDI is the five millionth Audi with quattro 4WD

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

The first Audi qauttro hit the headlines in 1980 and now – 33 years later – Audi has produced its five millionth car with AWD – an A6 Allroad. It’s thirty years since Audi became the first mainstream car maker to offer a four wheel drive road car when the Audi quattro hit the road, offering a (certainly for then) fulsome 200PS with the added reassurance of four wheel drive for added grip. True, others had flirted with 4WD road cars before Audi made it mainstream, such as Jensen with the FF in the 1960s, but Audi’s bold move was a real first for a mainstream maker, even if the Audi quattro was not exactly an entry-level model.
