Hyundai ix35 FCEV: The go-to hydrogen fuel cell car

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

The Hyundai ix35 FCEV has been chosen for the second year running as the FCEV of choice for the European Commission-backed Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU). As we’ve reported previously, the Hyundai ix35 FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) is the first proper production FCEV in the world, although the roll-out of Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered car isn’t exactly on a huge scale, at least not for the next couple of years. Tue, 23 Oct 2012

Based on the underpinnings of the Micra, the Extrem is 3850mm long and 1760mm wide and is, although it’s hard to judge in the photos, a chunk smaller than the Nissan’s current smallest crossover, the Juke.

Mazda CX-5

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

Mazda will unveil its CX-5 compact crossover SUV at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September. The CX-5 is the first production model to showcase the company's new design language, first seen on the Mazda's Shinari and Minagi concepts. Features such as a prominent new frontal treatment with a large Mazda logo and dynamic styling designed to convey a 'strong sense of vitality and agility' are examples of the spirit of Kodo, according to the company.
