Up for bid is this professionally serviced NOS 1950-53 Chevrolet / GMC truck speedometer. While unit is out of box NOS (New Old Stock) , I have listed this as remanufactured since it has received some minor mechanical servicing to assure reliable long life and also some minor cosmetic work (paint) on the bezel ring and housing case. Speedometer is correct for 1950-53 Chevrolet truck and 1952-53 GMC using the 90mph speedometer. This is an original General motors AC unit not a reproduction and was located buried in the old inventory of a local speedometer shop. Unit has been freshly serviced having the speed unit fully inspected, cleaned, lubricated and calibrated. The all original speedometer head has survived the years very well with original superb cosmetics as can be seen in the last 3 pictures taken after removal from housing prior to servicing.  Mechanically it is better than NOS since the speed unit has been freshly serviced and in addition has had an original AC service replacement nylon odometer cross gear upgrade for longer  service life (the original cross gear on older AC speedos were steel and usually lasted only 75000 miles before stripping the steel magnet shaft worm it meshes with). Calibration is US standard 1:1 or 60mph indicated at 1000 cable rpm. This speedometer will therefore work on most any US production car or truck using a mechanical (cable driven) speedometer. Unit fits panel hole of approximately 5-1/4" mounting from back of dash. Calibration has been set using a master certified speedometer test stand and unit functions as new with spot-on accuracy. The chrome on the bezel was bad from years in storage and has been finished in black paint. (I also painted the housing which had surface rust). All other cosmetics are original and as new. Unit is in excellent condition in all respects and is ready to install. Satisfaction is guaranteed. USPS worldwide shipping. Any questions e-mail for prompt reply. Don't miss this opportunity on this very nice original perfect functioning AC speedometer for your vintage Chevy or GMC truck or other vintage application.

Thanks for looking!

Italian Supercar makers didn't dissapoint at Frankfurt, with new offerings from Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati Fotunately for those of us who love cars, the Italians would prefer to ignore whats going on in the world and instead concetrate on bringing four wheeled gourgousness to the car world. And we had new cars from the big three Italian Supercar makers – Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. Lamborghini brought us the most extreme – the very limited edition Reventon Roadster.

New Lexus RX 450h Facelift costs from £44,495

Mon, 21 May 2012

The Lexus RX 450h F Sport joins the 2012 range The 2012 facelift for the hybrid SUV Lexus RX 450h will cost from £44,495, with the new RX 450h F Sport costing £51,995. The Geneva Motor Show in March was the debut for the facelift of the 2012 Lexus SUV offering – the RX 450h – with a new, sharper, sportier option added to the range in the guise of the RX 450h F Sport. Actually, to call the changes to the 2012 RX 450h is probably to exaggerate; they’re more a bit of botox than actual surgery.

Seat Leon X-perience (2015): first photos of Seat’s Allroad

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

By Jonny Edge First Official Pictures 23 June 2014 12:18 Seat has become the latest member of the Volkswagen family to unveil a stylised off-road version of a small estate car with the introduction of its new Leon X-Perience, coming to showrooms in 2015. Based on the existing Leon ST, the X-Perience is perhaps better thought of as a trim level more than an entirely new model. In essence, it’s Seat’s answer to the Audi Allroad.
