Eight new OEM Ford Engine Intake Valves that I got at an auction of vintage car parts.  These are part no. C0AE-6507-J (EBP-6507-E) and are Standard size.

According to my Ford parts catalog, these are for:

  • FORD PASSENGER CARS  (1954-64: Models with 223" Engines except Thunderbird, Taxi, and Police Car;  1955-56: Models with 272" Engines)
  • FORD TAXI & POLICE CAR  (05/01/53 -  1964: Models with 223" Engines)
  • FORD TRUCKS  (1957-63: Models with 223" Engines)

The box is rough.  There are a few spots of dried packing grease and rust.

Just 1 of at least 10 Ferrari 458 Italia Fires Update 1/9/2010: It took Ferrari a while to catch up with our story – well, a couple of days – but they got there. Ferrari say the fires on the 458 Italia are caused by the glue attaching a heat shield catching fire under high temperatures. Which sounds extremely odd, but that’s the explanation.
