NEW OLD STOCK SILENTIUM MUFFLER AND HANGER FOR BENELLI / MOTOBI 125cc 200cc 250cc

Up for sale is a new old stock Silentium muffler for Benelli / Motobi 125cc 200cc and 250cc horizontal single motorcycles .  This is NOT a reproduction.  It is an original Italian part circa 1967.  I purchased it during the recent Cosmopolitan Motors liquidation. This piece has been sitting quietly on a shelf in Pennsylvania for over 40 years.

The condition is very nice with perfect chrome.  There are very minor factory flaws on the underside and a few dings, two on the muffler tip, which are out of sight when mounted, and two along the top near the intake end.  The hanger is in perfect as form the factory condition.

This is a rare opportunity to pick up an authentic factory part.  I've never seen original Silentium offered for these bikes, and this is the only one I have.

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions.   This item ships worldwide.

Vauxhall Ampera & Chevy Volt win European Car of the Year 2012. Are they mad?

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

Vauxhall Ampera - European Car of the Year 2012 The Vauxhall / Opel Ampera (& the Chevy Volt) has won the European Car of the year 2012. Which seems completely stupid. Last year we had a car that almost no one is buying – the Nissan LEAF – voted Car of the Year.

Aston Martin eyes Lagonda comeback

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

The last time we saw an Aston Martin Lagonda on the street, it looked like its sharp angles could deflect not only police radar and laser, but give pedestrians a paper cut if they weren't careful. And the last time we saw a Lagonda concept -- at the 2009 Geneva motor show -- it looked like, well, like what you see above. We're still not sure what we see above, and leading scientists aren't sure, either.

2014 Chrysler 200 gets a short run

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Chrysler Group will cut short the Chrysler 200 sedan's 2014 model year to launch a redesigned version in January. Internal Chrysler documents indicate that the 2014 Chrysler 200 will start production in July at Chrysler's Sterling Heights plant in suburban Detroit and end in the second week of January. Normally, production of the 2014 model would run well into 2014.
