You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) Smiths water temperature gauge for a vintage British Car. We do not have an exact application for this. The part number on the face is TC6202/01 and the part number for the Wolseley 1500 temp gauge is TC6202/00: we are not sure what the difference is. In the box is also an instruction sheet dated 1957 so that gives a time frame. (3rd photo) One gentleman wrote: Hi, This does not have glass covering the face, it goes in a cluster gauge along with usually a fuel gauge and an oil gauge. Beautiful NOS gauge. Audi readies flagship Sport Quattro concept for Frankfurt
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Audi will unveil its new Sport Quattro concept at next month's Frankfurt motor show, previewed in a number of sketches. We first saw the Quattro concept back in 2010 at the Paris motor show and three years later the carmaker has produced another iteration, a 2+2 coupé, that measures in at 4,699mm – 419mm longer than the Quattro concept (4,280mm). From what the sketches show, the Sport Quattro retains the chunky C-pillar of the 2010 Quattro concept, the 1984 Sport Quattro and the original Ur-Quattro models, while the four headlamp units are another nod to the original.
Ford Mondeo/Fusion unveiled at 2012 Detroit show
Mon, 09 Jan 2012Ford unveiled its new 2013 Mondeo at the Detroit auto show - the new Mondeo is in fact now a Fusion in Euro drag. Under the One Ford rules, most major car projects are in fact global affairs, so the Mondeo follows in the footsteps of the Focus, also unveiled in Detroit two years ago and brought to Europe a year later. We'll have a similarly long wait for the Ford Fusion to make the leap to the European Mondeo, with a launch slated for spring 2013.
General Motors boosts output of the Cadillac CTS V6 for 2012
Tue, 19 Apr 2011General Motors has reworked the 3.6-liter V6 engine used in the CTS for the 2012 model year, boosting output while maintaining the fuel-economy ratings of the less-powerful V6 from 2011. The 2012 version of the V6 delivers 318 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. That compares with 304 hp and 273 lb-ft for the 2011 version.
