One Lap of the Web: Bonneville Salt Flats, Suzuki concepts and Porsches for all

Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra [w/Gallery]
Tue, 18 Dec 2012The all-new Chevrolet Sliverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups will be looking to steal sales from the dominant Ford F-Series in the US full-size truck market in the 2014 model year. The Silverado is the flagship of Chevrolet's three-truck portfolio, sitting above the Silverado 3500 and 2500 HD. The GMC Sierra features the same basic package as its bow-tied sibling but with unique features to offer a more premium proposition.
Kia KV7 concept
Tue, 28 Dec 2010Kia is clearly keen to grab the last of 2010's headlines by releasing this teaser render of its upcoming concept, the KV7, due to be unveiled at the Detroit auto show. The large crossover appears to preview a replacement for the Korean manufacturer's Borrego. While the exterior's clamshell tailgate, muscular wheelarches and Ford Explorer-aping lamp graphics (from this view, at least) may be directly relative to a production model, it's unlikely that the rear gullwing door openings will make the transition.
