Saab 9-4X

The production version of the new Saab 9-4X will make its official debut at next month's LA Auto Show, exactly two years after it was first displayed as the 9-4X BioPower concept. It shares its platform with the Cadillac SRX. Very little appears to have changed in the intervening period, with Saab design director, Jason Castriota's appointment coming after the car was signed off under GM's tenure.

Concept Car of the Week: Plymouth XNR (1960)

In the early ‘50s, both GM and Ford offered attractive and exciting sports cars, symbols of a proud post-war America. Ford had the Thunderbird and GM the Corvette, but Chrysler's approach was more pragmatic, producing cars that were practical and robust but also slow. After commissioning a long series of concepts designed by Italian carrozzeria Ghia, Chrysler gave a free hand to its design chief Virgil Exner to inject some life into its lineup.

Citroen UK adds more incentives

Citroen are now extending their ‘VAT Free’ offer across the range on Berlingo Multispace, C4, C4 Picasso, C8 and C-Crosser, which means savings of up to £3.5k are now available without haggling at Citroen dealers throughout the UK.
