Long-lost Cunningham Corvette race car displayed

Chevrolet Corvette enthusiasts on Thursday got an up-close look at a car that raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 52 years ago but hasn't been seen for more than 20 years. On the eve of the Corvettes at Carlisle show in Carlisle, Pa., event promoter Lance Miller opened one of his climate-controlled garages to reveal the 1960 Corvette that many are certain is the car that wore No. 1 and ran in the 1960 race at Le Mans.

As Jaguar confirmed its new F-type sports car at the 2012 New York auto show, it issued some teaser video footage of the new £55,000 roadster landing in showrooms in spring 2013. Jag ambassador and former racer Martin Brundle hitches a lift with the company's chief dynamics engineer Mike Cross for a few hot laps in the F-type prototype around its handling circuit at Gaydon. WE’RE constantly being told that more mature citizens are making up an increasing proportion of the population, and nowhere is this more obvious than on our roads. According to road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), there are now more than seven million drivers over the age of 65 in the UK. The figures come from driving licence data published by the DVLA in December 2013, and show that the number of drivers over 65 reached 7,191,192 in November 2013.
