You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) set of Vandervell main bearings for the MGB and MGBGT, 3 main engine (1962-65).

These are .030 size. The box is torn up but readable.

Vandervell's have long been considered the best in engine bearings and were the original-equipment bearings for most British engines. They are favored by current race engine builders because of their quality.

Vandervell bearings have been out of production for many years. This is a set from a vintage British inventory.

New in the box, with the protective paper, part number VPM91049 .030. These have the VP Logo on the bearing and  number on the bearing is 4579. (2nd photo)

Nissan stops taking Leaf reservations, has 20,000 on the books

Nissan has accepted 20,000 reservations for the Leaf electric car and said it has stopped taking orders until next year. Nissan began taking reservations for the Leaf in May. The Leaf, which is about the size of a Nissan Versa, is powered by an 80-kilowatt electric motor that produces 107 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque.
