You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) Vandervell connecting rod bearings for Triumph 'Roadster' and Renoun, Standard Vanguard MK I and II and 12 CWT vans. For engine 1991 cc and 2088 cc. 1948-55. These are .030 size. Please see the 2nd photo which is from our Vandervell catalogue. These are listed as alternative heavy duty connecting rods. Vandervell's have long been considered the best in engine bearings and were the original-equipment bearings for most British engines. They are favored by current race engine builders because of their quality. Vandervell bearings have been out of production for many years. This is a new set from a vintage British inventory. New, part number VP318 .030. The box is a little torn.

Red Tails Mustang joins auction at AirVenture Oshkosh
Tue, 24 Jul 2012Ford has produced a one-off Red Tails edition of the 2013 Ford Mustang GT for an auction at the Gathering of Eagles charity event on July 26. The event will take place during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2012 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis. Proceeds will benefit the Young Eagles program, which provides free introductory flights for young people.

Faulty airbags cause recall of 3.4 million cars
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Toyota, Honda and Nissan are recalling more than 3 million vehicles made between November 2000 and March 2004 for faulty airbags from parts supplier Takata, Automotive News reported on Thursday. So far, 1.73 million Toyotas, 1.14 million Hondas, and 480,000 Nissans are involved in the recall. But the report from Automotive News suggests Takata also supplied other manufacturers with the same airbags.
