Very old hooded switched nickel plated brass dash lamp. The Switch works well back and forth. The threaded stud is 11/16. Will mount to any dashboard up to 3/4 thick but may have to leave the washer off., The lower base has the original nickel finish with wear and brass showing through opposite side as the switch lever. The hood has the 2 small openings and is nickel plated brass. Worn plating matchs the base. The hood has a crack that is in the side where the light will be pointing maybe. In the center it is marked at the ending with blue marker. Can be solidered, some silicone or super glue is the best insurance you wont loose it. The hood does fit tight so it wont be loose. Screw for wiring is good. .Great for a cycle or rat rod. Pictures should tell story. CCS receives $2.5m GM Grant
Tue, 28 Jun 2011General Motors is set to strengthen its longstanding commitment to Detroit's College for Creative Studies with a $2.5 million donation, a contribution that will help the university undertake a $145 million redevelopment of its A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. This is not the first time that GM has given to CCS – the ongoing relationship between them sees members of the GM design team teach and mentor students, while CCS also receives loans of industrial equipment from its Detroit neighbor.
