NOS Vintage Full Face Helmet Helmet - Size Small

Not sure of the brand. It is not a Shoei helmet. In my opinion it looks similar in appearance to a Shoei S12 helmet. It is made of a poly material. It is not fiberglass. It is an economical alternative to the name brand helmets. Has some light scratches from sitting around for years. Email me with any questions.

Sold as is. This is "New Old Stock" of a Vintage Helmet. The helmets are unused but have been stored since their production more than 30 years ago and show some signs of aging. The liners of these helmets are in varying states of deterioration and may need replaced, They are recommended for collectors or display. Not for road use.

Land Rover can’t keep up with demand for Range Rover & Range Rover Sport

Sat, 28 Sep 2013

There’s a 9 month waiting list for the new Range Rover Sport (pictured) The Range Rover has been a big success for Land Rover in recent years, and the launch of the new Range Rover last year – even with big price rises – has seen demand soar to unprecedented levels. Good news for JLR. To add to that, the arrival of the all new Range Rover Sport – this time based on the new Range Rover instead of the old Discovery – has seen the RRS turn from a footballers wife’s car in to a proper sporty SUV, one that can take on the likes of the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 on-road and obliterate them off-road.

Opinion: Discovery Sport and the long-term ramifications of pandering to the crossover convergence

Wed, 03 Sep 2014

Having pored over the first pictures of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport and consumed the accompanying official literature, we’re left wondering why it shares so much of its design treatment with the Range Rover Evoque, while simultaneously removing the last vestiges of utility from the Discovery nameplate. From its virtually indistinguishable grille and lamp graphics, over its tapered roofline to its bespoilered tail, it’s hard to describe it as anything other than a derivative of the Evoque. The difference between a Discovery and a Range Rover it would seem, is a body coloured C-pillar.

Volkswagen and BYD get cosy

Tue, 26 May 2009

VW and BYD have signed an agreement to work together on developing battery technology (BYD F3DM plug-in Hybrid pictured). Volkswagen has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese car maker and EV specialist BYD to work together “in the area of electric mobility”. Seems sensible.
