NOS Vintage Hurst Front Shock Absorbers -- MINT in the box!  I opened the box to photograph the shocks. These are the RARE performance dual stage shocks with "Drive" and "Drag" settings!  Listed in the Hurst catalog from 1970 as fitting 1966-70 B-Bodies, including Dodge Charger, Super Bee, A12 cars, Coronet, and Plymouth Road Runner, GTX, Belvedere, and 1970 E-bodies, including Cuda and Challenger,...also 1962 Dart.  Obviously, all B and E-Bodies thru 1974 are inclusive, but the catalog didn't go past 1970.  Check your catalog for your application.  Rare find; don't let these get away!

I have the matching NOS rear shocks in a separate listing.

I accept PayPal payment within 24 hours of end of auction.  No international shipping (outside the USA) without my prior approval.  I do combine shipping.  These are heavy, so shipping is commensurate with weight. Please ask all questions before bidding; I'll gladly answer them.  Good luck bidding!

Two million drivers risk insurance fraud

Wed, 21 May 2014

MORE THAN 2 million drivers in the UK could be at risk of committing insurance fraud by claiming they are the main driver on a policy when someone else uses the car. As many as 6% of the UK’s drivers are risking invalidating their insurance by letting someone else drive the car for most of the time despite claiming they are the principal driver. Known as ‘fronting’, this kind of insurance fraud is common among parents helping their children to get cheaper car insurance.

The P1 Supercar Club seems to have fallen by the wayside. [ad#ad-1] In a buoyant economy, with plenty of ‘Readies’ floating around, the Supercar Club Concept (where members pay an annual fee for the use of a fleet of Supercars for a fixed number of days a year) works well. Clubs in the UK have sprung up all over the place, inspired by the success of the P1 Supercar Club, co-founded by Damon Hill in 2000.

Mercedes F125 concept (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 13 Sep 2011

Mercedes today unveiled the F125 concept car - a car bearing the three-pointed star's F name to demark it as a tech testbed, and the 125 to mark Merc's 125th anniversary in this four-wheeled business. It's a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, and Merc claims a punchy 1000km (620-mile) range. But the scientists here are proud of the cutting edge lithium sulphur batteries, used to store energy created by the fuel-cell.
