 You are bidding on a pair of NOS Marsh's Sprinter Racing tires on modified Ford steel wheels.  Tires are 11.00-14 & measure 27 inches tall with tread measuring 11 inches.  Tires were sold by Honest Charley.  The tires have age & most likely from the 1970s.  They also show cracks.  The wheels are modified Ford.  They measure 14x10.5 with 5 bolt in 4.5 bolt pattern & 2 3/4 inch back space.  Fits Ford, Mopars & AMCs.  As side wall states they are not street legal & are for race only.  With age of tires they make excellent display.  I can also deliver to Charlotte, Carlisle, Hershey & Englishtown shows.  If you have any questions please call Kurt at 717-490-1604.

This is the new Lexus GS, which has just been revealed at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, USA. Presumably the new Lexus GS is clean and green? Well, yes, but much of the official Lexus press release is filled with phrases like ‘improved driving dynamics’ and ‘packed with innovative performance’, but no mention is made of fuel consumption or emission figures.

Toyota has slipped behind competitors in drivetrain technology and now must play catch-up against the likes of Ford, Hyundai and Mazda. Much of Toyota's lag stems from engineering resources being diverted by the unintended acceleration crisis and other quality miscues in the past two years. Now expect Toyota to focus more on turbocharging and direct injection, and it may even bring a couple of diesels to the United States as part of midcycle changes.

Nissan teams up with Williams for sporty Nismo cars from 2014

Nissan’s performance car skunkworks arm Nismo (short for Nissan Motorsports) has agreed a deal with Williams Advanced Engineering to co-develop faster versions of Nissan’s road cars from 2014. It doesn’t mean the Williams F1 team will be developing the forthcoming Nismo version of the GT-R, but the Formula One team and Williams Advanced Engineering are part of the same group founded by Sir Frank Williams. Sir Frank said: ‘Williams Advanced Engineering has a history of developing world class, high-performance products and this agreement is particularly exciting because of the ambition and potential of the Nismo brand.
