For sale is the Volvo Penta Exhaust manifold # 3848813 which lists for $2040.  This is a NOS part but does have minor scratches from being moved around.  I have the complete set listed in other listings including the exhaust pipe this bolts too.  Ask about a package deal.

GM may revive performance brands

General Motors Co. is studying whether to revive brands for performance vehicles to improve its image among go-fast car shoppers. At the Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show in Las Vegas last week, GM unveiled the Z-Spec Chevrolet Cruze, Volt and Spark cars, and two SS-badged Chevrolet Camaros.

Audi has turned its limited-production Audi A1 Quattro into a full series-production model with the three-door S1 and five-door S1 Sportback. Designed to take on the likes of the new Mini Cooper S, the new entry-level Audi S models make their world debut at the Geneva show early next month. Audi says the S1 and S1 Sportback won't be sold in the U.S.

While Americans in the 1960s and '70s were enjoying the heyday of muscle-car madness, our friends over in the Soviet Union were treated to an entirely different kind of automobile. Fiat-based Ladas and Russian-born Volgas were the cars of the day, and our friends at Retronaut have gathered some press materials and advertisements for the compact sedans. Lada was named after a famous Czech manufacturer of sewing machines in the 1960s.
