I have (10) Ten of these control arm bushings available. Each BIN is only for (1) ONE bushing! From research these fit the makes/models listed above in the chart, however, PLEASE ensure these fit your car before buying! Not sure of the brand of these bushings but almost everything else I have is OEM parts so it's possible that these are too. Dealer retail on these bushings are $39.00 each but I'm listing them much lower since the are NOS (and not in original packaging) and a bit dusty. Great time to stock up on them! Lower 48 shipping is $3.00 per bushing and $.75 for each additional bushing you buy after the 1st. I only leave feedback after it has been left for me.

VW Golf GTE: the GTI goes hybrid for Geneva Motor Show 2014

Volkswagen is pitching its brand new plug-in hybrid Golf as a hot hatch. Called the Golf GTE, it will sit in the range alongside the latest petrol-powered GTI and diesel-powered GTD models. Expect a nostalgic tear or two in eyes of older performance Vauxhall fans.

How safe are new minicars?

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently tested a total of 11 minicars in its relatively new small-overlap crash test, and the Chevrolet Spark was the only one to earn an Acceptable rating. The small-overlap crash test was instituted in 2012 with the goal of better replicating real-life car crashes, most of which don't follow the pattern of traditional government crash tests. Instead of a car hitting a stationary object with 100 percent of its front making contact, the small-overlap test examines how a car behaves in a frontal impact at 40 mph where only a quarter of the car's front hits an object.

Project Car Hell, Air-Cooled Inferno Edition: oval-window Beetle or Type 34 Karmann Ghia?

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

Here we are in the Automotive Lake of Fire again, and we feel compelled to follow up a couple of marginal-classic Fiat projects with a pair of indisputable classic Volkswagens. After Ferdinand Porsche appropriated the basic design for the original Beetle from Tatra designer Hans Ledwinka (but before Tatra successfully sued Volkswagen), Volkswagen turned one innovative rear-engined vehicle platform into quite a lineup of cars and trucks. These days, while some types of air-cooled VW projects are cheap and plentiful, the rarer ones are much-sought-after and tough to find in semi-restorable condition.
