Up for bid is a NOS (in the box) Wilmot Breeden Locking Petrol Cap (Part Number 7/5413) and BMC Part Number 3H 1833.  The box cites that this cap fits the following models:

This item is absolutely as new.  The chrome is beautiful and unblemished,  the zinc plating on the underside is as new.  The cap comes with a matching NOS Wilmot Breeden FS939 Key!

RM Monaco sale tallies $43,410,615

RM Auctions sold 87 percent of the lots it offered at its Monaco sale held last weekend at the Grimaldi Forum. The result was $43,410,615 in total sales, with six lots bringing more than $2 million and 10 lots bringing more than $1 million. A 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider drew the biggest bid, selling for $6,469,848.

Ford has revealed the Lincoln MKC Concept at the Detroit Auto Show, a titivated upmarket offering based on the Ford Kuga. Despite strong sales on the other side of the Pond, Ford is struggling in Europe – just like every other mainstream car brand – and they’re probably ruing the day they decided to unravel their Premier Auto Group, selling off Aston Martin, Volvo and – their biggest mistake – Jaguar Land Rover. Which means that if Ford want to get back in to the – potentially very profitable – realm of premium cars again they’re stuck with doing it with one of their ‘brands’.

A 1958 Ferrari sold for $3.6 million at RM Auctions' annual event in London on Oct. 26. But other top lots--including another Ferrari, a Lamborghini and an Aston Martin--failed to reach the reserve price for a sale.
