 Up for sale is an original Wittek radiator hose clamp. It is 2-3/16" and is dated 2/65 (second quarter of 1965). This clamp is in excellent condition and is stainless steel! You can tell it is an unused, NOS clamp because the "tower" has not been formed, this happens when it is tightened. I also have 2-1/16" clamps with the same date listed on Ebay right now! These are getting very hard to find, especially in new old stock condition! This is an original Wittek GM/Ford part, not a reproduction! Get the right parts for your classic. Mercedes B55 (2011) - a ballistic V8 B-class

Mercedes' tuning arm AMG has not yet ventured into sensible B-class territory, but a bunch of Merc trainees in Germany has come up with this: the B55. It's a V8-powered B-class, complete with AMG-spec 383bhp 5.5-litre V8 mounted up front and driving an old W210 E-class rear axle. Sounds like a promising skunkworks special, derived from an old B200 CDI hack that was kicking about the training centre.

The Jaguar F-Type Coupe is #GoodToBeBad Back in November we revealed that the Jaguar F-Type Coupe was going to feature in an advert – Rendezvous – during the Super Bowl in the US as Jaguar look to bring attention in the States to perhaps the most impressive Jaguar in a generation or two. Focusing on the predilection of Hollywood directors to cast British actors as villains, the new F-Type Coupe Super Bowl advert features Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong as archetypal British villains, with the new Jaguar F-Type front and centre. The advert suggest that Brits make the best villains because they sound right, are more focused, more precise, always one step ahead, have a certain style, an eye for detail and are obsessed by power.

Aston Martin and Mercedes 'to strike €300m deal'

We have sensational details of the alliance, including a plan for hybrid Aston Martins, the full range of proposed Lagonda models and even a possible DB10 and 4x4 from the Aston Martin Lagonda stable. Back in August 2008, we revealed how the British sports car maker was in talks with the German giant over future cooperation (read our original Aston-Merc scoop here).
